Clinical Intern
Hello! I’m Briana, and I find meaning in supporting children, adolescents, and their families as they build confidence, strengthen skills, and navigate everyday challenges such as school stress, emotional concerns, and life transitions. I take a strengths-based, solution-focused approach that helps young people recognize what is already working in their lives while developing practical strategies for school, relationships, and overall emotional well-being.
I believe meaningful change often happens when caregivers feel supported as well, so I value collaborating closely with parents and caregivers to provide guidance, tools, and strategies that strengthen caregiver-child relationships and support growth outside of the therapy room. I am comfortable offering parent sessions and coaching, and when helpful, I also collaborate with schools and other professionals to support a child’s success across settings.
I support children and adolescents in building executive functioning skills such as organization, planning, time management, and problem solving. I tailor sessions to each child’s developmental needs and unique experiences, using evidence-informed practices to support emotional awareness, resilience, and healthy coping. My goal is to create a warm, supportive space where children and teens feel heard, capable, and hopeful.
Whether through play, conversation, skills coaching, or creative expression, I work alongside clients to help them develop practical tools and greater confidence in navigating everyday challenges. I look forward to supporting you and your family.
