Therapist

I believe therapy can be a transformational healing experience. Feeling seen and valued for our whole selves allows us to live with more authenticity and joy. The foundation of my practice lies in creating a warm and gentle therapeutic connection, enhancing individual and family strengths, and building valuable coping skills. I look forward to learning more about you and your family as we work towards growth and recovery!

As a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), I work with children and teens facing a variety of challenges. I facilitate creative and personalized ways to recover from trauma, abuse, attachment wounds, grief, anxiety, self-esteem concerns, and more. My background includes trauma treatment, LGBTQ+ affirming services, court-ordered therapy, comprehensive family assessments, and suicide prevention research. I blend elements of evidence-based treatment approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Play Therapy in practice. I earned a Master’s degree in Social Work and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with concentrations in Applied Statistics, and Community Action & Social Change from the University of Michigan.

I am excited to work with your family! Together, I hope to increase family connection and joy while achieving your goals. I would be grateful to walk alongside your child and family in the healing journey to help build confidence, emotion regulation skills, and lifelong practices to enhance your child’s well-being.
