Hi! I’m a provisionally licensed Therapist who works with kids, teens, young adults, and families who are navigating life’s big emotions and challenges. I specialize in supporting clients who are dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, Autism, school refusal, emotional regulation struggles, trauma, and identity-related questions. I also have extensive experience working with students with learning differences, multiple disabilities, medical disabilities, and those who may feel overwhelmed or misunderstood in traditional school settings.
My approach to therapy is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I use a mix of proven techniques—like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and solution-focused strategies—while also incorporating creative expression, play therapy, mindfulness, and somatic (body-based) tools. I help clients learn practical coping skills, better understand their emotions, and build confidence in who they are. For families navigating IEPs, behavior plans, or advocacy needs, I work closely with parents and schools to support the whole child.
Before joining Marvelous Minds, I worked in therapeutic schools and treatment centers supporting children and teens with complex emotional and behavioral needs. I’ve also counseled adolescents in crisis, including those recovering from trauma and substance use. These experiences shaped my belief that healing happens when we feel seen, safe, and supported—just as we are.
Outside of therapy, I’m a proud aunt, a cat mom, a daughter, and a sister. I’m also a breast cancer survivor—an experience that deepened my understanding of resilience, medical trauma, and the mind-body connection. I love being in nature, especially surrounded by oak trees or near the mountains, and I care deeply about kindness, justice, and community. I’m passionate about lifelong learning and am continuously expanding my knowledge to better support the people I work with. I bring a lot of heart, humor, and authenticity to my work—and I consider it a privilege to support young people and families as they grow, heal, and thrive.
