Hello!

I am a licensed clinical social worker with extensive experience working with school aged youth. Since graduating from Dominican University with a Masters of Social Work degree in 2016, I have been a school social worker, servicing students kindergarten through high school. I have especially enjoyed working with teens! 

As a school social worker, I have provided counseling and developed personalized strategies to help students with their emotional regulation and social development.  Additionally, I have accumulated years of experience working with families of special education students. I am also personally connected to special education as the parent of a child with an IEP (Individualized Education Plan). I strive to walk alongside clients by welcoming them into a safe, judgment free counseling space. Respectful, culturally sensitive support will be at the forefront of our therapeutic union. Incorporating client interests and passions, art therapy and play are common in my social work practice. 

My personal counseling style is strengths based and focuses on helping clients achieve their individual goals, one step at a time. I am thrilled to represent Marvelous Minds in their mission to provide excellent, client-centered community counseling.
