Let’s face it: life today can be VERY tough to navigate, but can seem positively exhausting when you feel like you’re being pulled in all directions at once while at the same time you’re fighting an inner battle. Do you constantly feel stressed out, discouraged, hopeless, or simply ‘not enough’? Perhaps you didn’t get off to a good start in life and believe that your chances for something better are slim…or you feel so worn down by constant crises, painful emotions, chronic illness, or addiction–or more than one of these–that you wonder “Is this all there is?”

Well, the good news is that there IS something more! Your best life is waiting for you, and as a therapist it is both my job and my honor to support you as you reclaim your true self, heal the past, build empowering habits, and move forward through your challenges towards your goals and dreams.

I’m a natural-born teacher as well as a good listener, so I’ll create for you a safe healing space as well as help you learn practical skills for dealing with the challenges that life brings your way. My warm, person-centered, and often light-hearted style will make it easy for us to collaborate. I’ve also worked in a variety of settings, both in the counseling field and out, including jobs as a tutor, travel agent, and pastry chef, and this helps me to relate to people from all walks of life.

Taking that first small step forward into the unknown that is therapy can seem scary… or maybe you’ve tried therapy before and had a less-than-positive experience. But I encourage you to think of making your first appointment with me as a fresh start…and, you won’t have to go it alone, because we’ll be working together as you create a better relationship with yourself and your life. Decisions hold great power, so decide that YOU matter enough to take the first step!
