Occupational Therapy Assistant

Hello, I’m Keyenna! In 2021, I graduated from an accelerated occupational therapy assistant program from Fox College. I also have a bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Movement Science from Lewis University. I am excited to share my knowledge and experience at Marvelous Minds in my role as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. With a background in both geriatric inpatient rehabilitation and school-based occupational therapy, I have developed a comprehensive understanding of diverse therapeutic needs and a dedication to personalized care.

Through my experience in school-based occupational therapy, I focused on supporting students with autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, and intellectual disabilities. Collaborating closely with educators and families, I created and implemented effective therapy plans to address sensory processing difficulties, fine motor, visual motor/ gross motor skill development, and activities of daily living.

My diverse background has equipped me with a versatile skill set, including developing treatment goals and implementing evidence-based interventions. I am dedicated to creating a supportive and nurturing environment where children can thrive and reach their full potential! As an Occupational Therapy Assistant at Marvelous Minds, I am excited to continue making a positive impact on the lives of young patients and their families.
