Satori Elder Therapist Glen Ellyn

Satori Elder, MA

It is a true joy of mine to see children and their families rise above any challenge they may face. I have worked with children, adolescents, and their families as a therapist for the National Youth Advocate Program where I worked as a Mental Health Liaison and Therapist. I administered assessments and ran group therapy sessions in addition to my work as an individual therapist. My work is individualized to each client’s strengths, weaknesses, and needs. I earned a Bachelors of Science in English and Psychology from Bradley University in 2015. In 2020, I earned my Masters of Arts degree in Psychology with a concentration in children and adolescents from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I am currently working towards certification as a Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist.

It is my endeavor to help my clients rise above any challenges that come their way. I will provide a judge free environment and a listening ear for your child, and provide the tools and strategies needed to overcome depression, sadness, low self-esteem, anxiety, and/or youthful trauma. By engaging in person-centered therapy, and active and reflective listening, it is my goal to create an environment that will meet the needs of my clients, and that my clients will feel safe and look forward to our therapy sessions. I look forward to walking in the healing journey with you.

In my spare time, I enjoy fishing, shopping, traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends. I am excited to join the Marvelous Minds team.
